However I did run into a different issue now.my EPG is now blank. Seems to be mostly ok except the three channels on the PBS stream. I adjusted the Cache level until I got a satisfactory balance between buffering and channel change times. ![]() I forgot to add that in the readme, sorry. You need to edit the tvheadend container and change network from bridge to host for HDHomerun to work. I read about older versions of TVHeadend needing a HDHomerun driver installed but I thought this version (listed as 4.1 in the about tab) was suppose to be set up for HDHomerun out of the box. I'm sure I'm missing something simple but can't for the life of me figure out what. Now I'm stressed because I killed a semi working MythTV setup with schedulesdirect going (mostly) and now I'm stuck. I then removed TVHeadend, rebooted again and started over with just TVHeadend. I tried removing the MythTV Docker but nothing changed. I did see a note "Tuners already in use will not appear below" and I figured MythTV was "using" it even though I had stopped it. I have a HDHomerun Connect that was working with MythTV. ![]() Started the Wizard but there were no options when it got to TV Adapter and Networks. So I installed through the Community Applications and then went to setup everything. I've been experimenting with Mythtv but TVHeadend seems to be better supported with Kodi. I hope this time it will work without issues or at least that this is the way how to replicate the successful installation on HC4 with ubuntu and tvheadend docker image.Very Excited to see this. I have no idea what I did wrong before, I tried many times, but I could swear I did it same except the step 3. Mknod /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0 c 212 1ĥ) started and entered the docker container and installed the driver thereĦ) restarted the container and the adapter appeared in the tvheadend web interface and it's working again. so those are steps I took:ģ) I didn't install the driver with the -createnodes parameter but found manual way to do it on your wiki pages for synology my kid's kindergarten has covid holidays. I checked tvheadend startup script under /usr/bin and LD_PRELOAD is there with correct values, I checked mediaclient -e and it shows the adapter on the host as well as inside docker container. sundtek_netinst.sh -docker -use-custom-path=/config inside the container, restarted the container and nothing. sundtek_netinst.sh –createnodes again and. I removed container, added it again, ran. ![]() sundtek_netinst.sh -docker -use-custom-path=/config and still nothing. So I installed it inside the container again with. sundtek_netinst.sh –createnodes and started the container and adapter was missing. bash: cd: /dev/dvb: No such file or directory So I checked directory and it's not cd /dev/dvb So I restarted TVH container and I got this docker start tvhĮrror response from daemon: error gathering device information while adding custom device "/dev/dvb": no such file or directory I turned up the TV and HTSP client couldn't connected. mediaclient -eĭevice 0: DVB-S/S2, ANALOG-TV, REMOTE-CONTROL, OSS-AUDIOĪnything you see I'm not doing or doing wrong? sundtek_netinst.sh -docker -use-custom-path=/configĪnd obviously it is installed inside the docker container as mediaclient shows. in fact I don't know what's the difference, haven't tried to make a diff check. I have HC4 with odroid's ubuntu image, docker installed and use the image from linuxserver.io based on alpine linux. Hi, I have issues getting adapter present in tvheadend, I think I did everything as I supposed to and can't figure out with my poor knowledge what's wrong. ![]()
